Sensational Singer Pauletta Washington to Sing at Fundraiser Randolph Academy Benefit Takes Place Sept. 13th & 14th Gregory Hines, one of the cinema and Broadway’s greatest tap dancers, was a friend of his. He dropped into his school whenever he was filming in Toronto, often unannounced, to teach and share his gift with his students. He was the first teacher of one of Broadway’s … and the world’s… hottest choreographers who was awarded, earlier this year, one of theatre’s greatest prizes – the Olivier Award. Despite this record-breaking Tony Award winner’s international success, he remains an honorary patron of the school.
  • What Made Robin Phillips Great
What Made Robin Phillips Great The scene took place almost 40 years ago, in 1977. My memory of it is as vivid as if it happened yesterday. It was Act 5, the penultimate scene of Shakespeare’s tragedy "Richard III," directed by Robin Phillips. The setting was the eve of the Battle of Bosworth Field. Richard, played by Brian Bedford, is visited by the ghosts of his victims.

Louise Pitre

Over the years, since I've been recording, I have to say that Dane Taylor and Bob Sagman of Song & Script have been instrumental in promoting my recordings. Not only mine, but all the worthwhile recordings anyone in my business would care to listen to.

I have always been impressed with their vast knowledge of the musical theatre repertoire as well as other genres but also, and perhaps most importantly, with their enthusiasm and love of the music they sell. I have appreciated their support and informed recommendations to me whenever I've been in their store. It is a gem of a store and I applaud them.

Very affectionately,
Louise Pitre
